  • Here we are, only 3 days away!!

This week has been exceptionally interesting.

Dwayne & I picked up a dresser for the kiddo. I felt inspired to paint it up over the weekend. I really dig the design that I came up with, it was completely made up on the fly, no planning whatso ever. Dwayne is not crazy about the mirror portion, but I just tell him he has no creative eye and he should go kick a soccer ball. Then he says something like , “Whatever…you asked for my opinion.” . It is all love I tell ya. We finished putting together the office into a guest/baby room. We will be playing changing rooms for a while this year. So right now, Georgia is still using the crib as a toddler bed. Our little man will use the co-sleeper in our room until her is around 6- 8 months. Then Mom is planning on buying Georgia some bunk beds. When that happens we will put them into the office room, move the office stuff into her former room and our son will inherit the crib. When he is ready to move into his own room, +/- 1.5 yrs , then we will move him into the office room and move the office stuff up stairs to our room.  So I guess by next summer/fall Georgia will be in the current Office room, our son will be in Georgia’s current room and the office will be set up in our bedroom somewhere and I have no idea where a potential house guest will be able to stay, except for the hotel or B&B down the street. Unless we move into another house before then, in that case, all bets are off.

I broke out in Scabies after all of that gardening. My OB prescribed some toxic medicine that has caused my face to feel sun burned. I found out I have another UI infection. Fun stuff waiting for that Monday Dr appointment and peeing like crazy for two days straight!!  I drank Cranberry like it was going outta style, no help, so I have another script for Antibiotics.

Georgia and I visited the library for the first time. It was a lot of fun for us. She really enjoyed it. I bought her a little kid’s book tote bag so she could gather music and books. This activity, of course, turned into “how many books can fit into this bag?” game.  She took a gigantic poo, librarians were giving me the hairy eyeball, and then I noticed the stench hovering around my child. There was no changing table in the bathroom, I had to toilet paper the floor to get the job done. Then she wanted to use the big potty to pee, and she did pee, go figure. We have been jetting around in the new car, getting used to it, trying to keep my mind off of the fact that the Acura is sitting collecting pollen dust in the driveway.

Georgia & I are bonding pretty good these days. She is so lovable and all over me these days. I am eating it up! Last night, while we watched our favorite TV shows, she cuddled me and played with my hair and at one point, looked right in my eyes and told me, “Mommy, your so pretty.” I cried.  I just love the attention from her. She is my little sweetheart.  I just don’t know how it can get any better than that. Lately, I feel so incredibly hideous. Large and bug infested, for my little girl to look at me and think that I am so pretty, it was magical.

Well, here are some pics of the dresser that I painted. I will probably get some belly shots in this week sometime. I am a huge 216 lbs!!! I don’t know how my ankles, well “cankles” are holding up all of this mass! I gained 6 lbs since Monday 4/29 !!

  • Wow, the paint work looks amazing, inspired indeed!

Wishing you all the best for when the little man appears, i'll be thinking of you.
If you get any chance put up a picture.
    Good luck

  • Hi Monica,
I am sorry that we did not get to talk tonight.I told Dwayne that I would call you after dinner and as usual my memory let me down. Danielle, Matt and Dewey were in a spat over letting or not letting Anthony go to baseball practice. He didn't eat his dinner and Danielle didn't want him to go. But the males thought it was too harsh a punishment. For a rare time, I stayed out of it. I ate my beef stew and stayed quiet. After the menfolk left, we girls talked. Well, she talked alot and I listened as a good mother should do.

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you during every moment tomorrow and give you a safe delivery and a healthy bouncing baby boy! I can't wait to see you, Dwayne, Georgia and our little boy, Dillon!

I thank our Lord now for answered prayer.

We love you, I'm so glad you became a member of our family!!!

See you soon. Much love, Mom
