This weekend Dwayne pulled out the shoes he bought Georgia 5 years ago. He did not understand how kids shoes were sized and was just so excited to get her a pair of pink shell toes. There is another pair but I am sure she will not see those until she has started school, maybe even middle school.
She Loves wearing shoes like her Daddy.
Last week, I dyed her hair with Pillar Box Red. She wanted Pink hair really bad, so I figured, why not? Manic Panic is only vegetable dye, you could eat the stuff, not that you would want to. The process went better than I expected. She sat very still and listened to my every command. It is really pretty.

Hey! Sunday evening, we ate dinner over at Matt and Danielle’s home. We started talking about how you were suppose to wear green for the next day, being St. Pat’s Day. Matt says that he and Danielle are covered because they both have green in their tattoos! I looked at my vine with the heart on my wrist and said that I was good and Dewey has green on his heart tattoo! We didn’t do another thing about the holiday! I’m glad you celebrated the holiday, I love the pics of the kids and the shoes. You know, with Dwayne’s passion for shoes, you would think that we made him go barefoot his entire childhood!
It’s Spring Break for us. The kids are spending the week with us, so that they don’t have to get up early and then Danielle or Matt have to bring them over here in the a.m. The boys love the Wii, so they are no bother.
But, poor MacKenna has been running a fever, her temp won’t stay down for long, it kept creeping back up to 103.whatever. Yesterday was her first day with it, when Danielle got home from work, she ended up taking her to the ER. Came back with— she probably has the flu and bought tylenol and motrim. It has been an up and down battle today, but tonight her fever is subsiding and her sparkling personality is coming back instead of looking at this poor ‘pitiful lit’ ole thang’. MacKenna & I said prayers for healing tonight and I hope that tomorrow we will have the true MacKenna back with us. I haven’t mentioned this to Dewey yet, but I have a sore throat. I am drinking 1,000 mg of vitamin C, right now. He will just fuss at me and I get so much of that already….you get what I mean.
I love Georgia Donna Bell’s pink hair! We don’t have that hair color stuff here. If you get the chance, will you send us 2 bottles or boxes- whichever? We wanted to do that to MacKenna’s hair when school started, but could only find red and that showed up somewhat in her hair. It looked good tho. Danielle put blonde on the boys and they were thrilled! It’s all gone for them, they get haircuts alot. Both have THICK hair. Let me know the cost and I will send you the money upfront. Love ya!
I am finding all kinds of nifty stuff to put on my website. Be sure and check it!
My love to each of you and God bless you all.
Love forever and always,
Mom
how cute! I used to use manic panic, pillar box red on my hair. I had it bleached and would re-dye it about every three weeks or so, so it’d be BRIGHT red.
It really wasn’t that long ago that i did that…kind of miss it.
