My Xanga buddy moonboot1960 asks (thanks for the inspiration to write):
How are your cousins doing?
Terrrible and good.
Tortured and relieved.
It is a crying shame, to say the least.
how are YOU doing post car accident, etc...?
We are all healthy. Car still has some issues to be fixed, so we are still “on the mend” there.
This has been a very tough time, to say the least...
Agreed, these last two/three months have been some of the hardest months of my life.
Turbulant would be the feeling. Tornado striken.
So I took up Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga to be precise. The marriage of breath and movement, ahhh.
I began on Saturday Jan 27th.
It feels good. I can honestly see myself doing this for the rest of my life.
I have lost 5 lbs of baby fat since 12/26 – whew!
I also joined a church. http://www.questcommunity.com/
They are placing me in a life group as we speak. FUN.
This weekend we are going to take the children to the flip’t family theater at the church. I am excited for my husband to go to this church for the first time.
I have not posted lately because I and my family have just been loony.
Dylan is holding on to furniture and walking around stuff. He moved into the crib which makes him sleep sooo much better.
Georgia is in the twin bed, we scored a bed rail from freecycle. She is digging the room during the day but night time she is move inclined to sleep with us. The queen bed just got a little smaller.
My brother finally moved out on his own. He girlfriend will be here sometime next week. I am actively looking for stuff for his apartment, Freecycle ROCKS! Thanks Sarah
Dwayne still has no job. Looking, looking, looking. Hm.
I still make too much money for us to receive aid for daycare or food stamps. Thank the Lord that WIC program has a different set of financial standards, they pay for the formula for Dylan.
I have learned a lot about making my own baby food and I think he likes it a lot better, I know it makes me feel good to stuff his face with my culinary creation, especially when he smiles after a big bite. LOVE IT.
I also wrote a letter to a ton of folks inquiring about these standards set by the Dept Agriculture. I sent it to the President, Vice Pres , Dept Agriculture, local Mayor and Legislators. To say the least, I am pissed that you do not have to be a citizen to receive food stamps, but my citizen family can’t have any. So I had to ask why and when is that going to change.
Oh, I also signed up for myspace. duh. ..http://www.myspace.com/dirtgirlmic
I don't have many friends. befriend me if you have one of these.Ok, gotta
Run. Lots of snow outside. Gotta clean of the car and get to work.
